Learn about new Photo ID Requirements and the Upcoming 2023 Elections- Thursday, September 21st 6:00-8:00 pm Joslyn Hall – Carteret Community College
Voter ID is coming to North Carolina in the 2023 Fall Elections. Most voters are unaware of the many details of Voter ID and may need help in getting an acceptable ID.
For this reason, Democracy NC and the League of Women Voters of Carteret County are partnering to host a seminar on “Voting in the 2023 Elections: What you need to Know”. This will take place in Joslyn Hall on Thursday, September 21st, 6:00-8:00 pm on Carteret Community College campus. This is open to the community and is free of charge.
There will be updates on how to obtain a photo ID, what voting with an ID looks like, as well as information on what forms of photo ID are acceptable when voting. We will also be providing participants with information on additional changes to early voting and new requirements on absentee ballots. This will be an open forum and individuals will be able to ask questions. This will also be available via Zoom for those who are unable to attend.
Refreshments for everyone will also be available outside of Joslyn Hall.
