We wanted to make everyone aware of upcoming roadway work on NC 58.
Crews will be restriping the long line thermo pavement markings and upgrading the line width from 4” to 6” to improve roadway visibility and safety. The work will take place from the Emerald Isle Bridge on NC 58 to the stoplight at the intersection of NC 58 and Atlantic Beach Causeway. Work will be performed at night from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM beginning Monday, March 23, 2026, and is expected to last approximately two weeks.
Motorists may experience nighttime construction activity, lane closures, and possible travel delays in the area. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and be mindful of crews working along the roadway. Thank you for your patience as these improvements are completed.
