2023 Junior Lifeguard Camps Registration Available April 1
Registration is first-come, first-serve. Please read the information below before downloading and submitting the application and materials.
These camps are held in two different age groups: 9-12 and 13-17 years old. The camps are taught by staff in the Emerald Isle Fire Department, which includes our Ocean Rescue Lifeguard team. Participants will learn a variety of safety measures on the beach strand and in the water.
New this year:
There will two different weeks offered for the 9-12-year-old age group.
All camp dates are held from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Dates are as follows:
Ages 9-12 (Class 1): July 10-13
Ages 13-17: July 17-20
Ages 9-12 (Class 2): July 24-27
Classes are $100 per participant, and up to 25 participants per camp.
Sign-up can be completed at the Emerald Isle Fire Department Station 1, 7516 Emerald Drive, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Registration forms and waiver must be turned in, along with a copy of birth certificate and sports physical for each child.
Payment is due at the time of registration, with checks made out to Emerald Isle Fire Department.
