During the Emerald Isle Board of Commissioners special meeting on Friday, August 23, 2024, the following actions were taken:
NOTE: Official minutes will be produced, reviewed, and approved at the next open public BOC meeting.
• The Board voted 4-0 to excuse Commissioner Brownlow from the meeting.
• The Board voted 4-0 to reestablish the Town’s Administrative Assistant position from part-time back to fulltime.
• The Board appointed Commissioner Sawyer to serve on the Stormwater Committee following Commissioner Brownlow’s resignation.
