Special Use Public Hearing Notice

Sweet Willie’s Beach Blitz

The Emerald Isle Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter in the Town Board Meeting Room, 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, North Carolina to receive public comment, regarding the proposed Sweet Willie’s Beach Blitz.  A special use permit application (2022-01-SUP) has been filed by Jefferson M. Drum, to have an event, Sweet Willie’s Beach Blitz, during September 10 and 11, 2022. The activities will include volleyball, surfing, corn hole, horse shoes, sand castle building and sack races.  Anyone interested may obtain more information by contacting the Emerald Isle Planning Department at 252-354-3424. The public is hereby notified and encouraged to attend.
