Carteret County Comprehensive Transportation Plan

The Emerald Isle Board of Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 beginning at 6:00 PM in the Floyd Messer, Jr. Town Board Meeting Room, at 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, North Carolina to receive public comment, both written and oral, regarding the proposed Carteret County Comprehensive Transportation Plan.  The proposed plan will be presented by NCDOT officials at the October 14 meeting, and the Board of Commissioners will receive public comment regarding the proposed plan following the presentation.   A copy of the proposed plan and other supporting information may be viewed at the Emerald Isle Administration Building, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
