Summer Day Camp
For 2022, a lottery system was in place for registration.

- Monday, April 25, 2022 Summer Day Camp Lottery Results were announced at 5 p.m.
Only one registration form is required per family.
After Lottery Registration Procedure
Should all camper spaces not be filled during the lottery, Summer Day Camp registration will remain open until all spaces are filled. A waiting list for each session is available and typically utilized.

All registrations should be either emailed to Drew Conekin or turned into the Emerald Isle Community Center 7500 Emerald Drive.
Summer Day Camp Program Mission
To provide both entertaining and educating activities for children 6-12, where activities are facilitated in a safe, fun environment by means that are structured and well supervised. Activities will provide enrichment for children and the community.
Summer Day Camp Program Objective
To reach out into the community and neighboring communities to encourage children and parents to see Emerald Isle Parks and Recreation Summer Day Camp as a place for children to interact with one another, learn valuable lessons in communication, develop teamwork skills, enhance physical condition, provide avenues for creative endeavors and present the children with opportunities to give back to the community.
Summer Camp Overview
Please read the attachment above for detailed information, policies and procedures of Emerald Isle's Summer Day Camp. Emerald Isle Parks and Recreation takes great pride in the Summer Day Camp program offered to children ages 6-12 (age 5 if they have completed kindergarten) each summer. Camp operates from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm. Monday through Friday during all 8 weeks of camp. Membership to Emerald Isle Parks and Recreation Community Center is not mandatory. The maximum registration per session is 35 campers.
Summer Day Camp is $100 per week per child. Half of your total balance for all weeks your child is signed up for is due by Friday, May, 13th. The remaining balance will be due on or before the first day of summer camp, Monday, June 13th. Failure to pay by this deadline will result in the forfeiture of your child's registration. Each week there is a per diem due for the field trips. You will see each week's total fee due that week on the weekly breakdown attachment. The weekly per diem must be paid in cash the week your child is attending.
